Jungle Ventures backs $5m seed round of Indian travel startup

    Bengaluru-based travel and lifestyle startup Escape Plan has raised US$5 million in a seed funding round.

    Bengaluru-based travel and lifestyle startup Escape Plan has raised US$5 million in a seed funding round.

    The investment was led by Jungle Ventures’ First Cheque initiative and Fireside Ventures, the company said in a statement.

    Founded in 2025 by Abhinav Pathak and Abhinav Zutshi, Escape Plan aims to create a multi-brand platform for travel-related products.

    It offers items such as luggage, backpacks, passport covers, and neck pillows, with a focus on fast delivery.

    The company also plans to expand through offline retail stores.

    The funds will be used to enhance inventory, build partnerships with established brands, and strengthen its quick commerce offerings.

    Escape Plan also plans to open over 100 retail stores in the next 18 to 24 months.
