What you are signing up for

Spiti in winter is quiet, white and unlike anywhere else in India. Ride up overnight from Delhi, cross into Kinnaur at Chitkul, stop at Nako Lake on the way to Tabo, then spend three nights in a Kaza homestay for Dhankar, Key and the high villages of Hikkim, Komic and Langza. We sort the stays, permits, meals and every drive. You just pack warm and show up.

Highlights

Travellers

Real stories, real escapes.

  • Winter Spiti · In Budget — travellers

First group trip for me, and Kufri on day one took the nerves out of it. The pace was honest — a couple of early starts, and they told us in advance rather than springing them. Already looking at their Vietnam, Unpacked · 5N/6D trip.

    Manav Kulkarni, Gurugram

  • Winter Spiti · In Budget — travellers

6 nights was exactly right — long enough to settle, short enough to take off work. Dhankar Monastery was the day everyone had come for, and it delivered. Already looking at their Vietnam, Unpacked · 5N/6D trip.

    Faiza Bose, Surat

  • Winter Spiti · In Budget — travellers

Paid, packed, turned up. That was genuinely the whole job. Kalpa to Shimla came around just as the group had hit its stride, which was annoying in the best way. Already looking at their Vietnam, Unpacked · 5N/6D trip.

    Priya Malhotra, Noida

  • Winter Spiti · In Budget — travellers

Was deciding between two operators and picked this for the itinerary. No regrets. Stays were simple rather than fancy, clean, and always where they said they would be. Already looking at their Vietnam, Unpacked · 5N/6D trip.

    Gaurav Sharma, Mumbai

  • Winter Spiti · In Budget — travellers

Travelled solo and never once felt like the odd one out. Transfers and check-ins were sorted before we arrived anywhere, which I had not expected at this price. Only note: carry more cash than you think you need.
